Automatic palletizing robot, also known as a palletizing robot arm, is a programmable mechanical device used to automatically stack and palletize products of different types and sizes on a production line. It can efficiently pallet products according to preset procedures and process requirements, and has the characteristics of fast, accurate and stable.

An automatic robot and stacker is today the most efficient way of palletizing piece goods onto pallets of any size and removing them from pallets. There are several explanations for this. Firstly, the palletizing operation can be easily robotized, as it is a series of sequentially repeated operations of the same type that can be easily written in a palletizing robot program. Secondly, the stacker robot can be easily reprogrammed and reconfigured not only from one stacking scheme to another, but also from one type of product to another, of course, if the grip and lifting capacity allows. Palletizing robots are absolutely universal in this respect.
 

The reverse operation of palletizing is depalletizing. In this operation, the robot removes objects from the pallet and transfers them to a conveyor or machine for further processing. Today, robotization of CNC machines is becoming more widespread, in which a robot takes blanks from a pallet, places them into a machine, after processing, grabs finished products, takes them out of the machine and places them on another pallet.
 

In summary, there are three main areas of use for stacking robots:

stowage of products in primary packaging;

packaging of products in corrugated boxes and other containers;

stacking of products on pallets and removal from pallets.
